PICS – Legion presents Remembrance Day awards

Each year, most Royal Canadian Legion branches from around Canada hold their annual Remembrance Day contests. Students are invited to submit poems, essays or posters and compete for prizes. The High Prairie branch completed its judging and presented the awards on Dec. 15, 2015. Winners advanced to area judging. On May 13, winners were presented with awards by Legion president Don Ebbett.

in Area Intermediate Essay and won $35, and second in District Intermediate Essay and won $55.
