PICs – Wooten wins PRJH talent title

The winners in Prairie River’s Got Talent were: left-right, second place winner Trinity Mearon, winner Katie Wooten, and third place winner Ryan Martin.

Students at Prairie River Junior High School in High Prairie showcased their performing arts skills in the fourth annual Prairie River’s Got Talent show May 4 at the Gordon Buchanan Recreation Centre performing arts theatre. Katie Wooten, Grade 8, was the winner as she sang This is Home. A total of nine student acts and one song by a group of teachers performed.

Grade 8 student Leon Palisoc, plays his ukulele while singing Perfect at Prairie River’s Got Talent. He was the winner in 2017.
