  1. Nomination for EC Bar Ranch – Denise and Lyndon Drefs do a fantastic job with the Corn Maze and summer and winter activities, including Flashlight Night this coming Saturday night, Oct 20. $10 per person. Dress warm. Bring your own flashlight. About 1,000 people usually come out. Runs 8:00 to midnight. Shameless plug eh? 🙂

  2. Obviously, Shady Orchards deserve an nominations for taking a huge, bold step with their winery. Pizza Hut and Maneeb’s for more eateries in town. Keeps everybody on their toes for sure. Perserverance nomination to Peavine Inn for re-opening the Vine! And how about service businesses. The awards are not just about retailers. Chapmans and IP Mechanical. How about our trucking outfits? There’s many more worthy businesses more out there. Friday at 6 is the deadline.
