Police investigating homicide

On June 25, at approximately 4:15 a.m., RCMP were called to a report of an injured male at a residence.

RCMP arrived and located the male in question. He was pronounced dead on the scene by Emergency Medical Services, says Cpl. Chris Warren.

An autopsy was conducted at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton on June 26, and determined the manner of death to be a homicide.

The male victim is a 25 year old male from Peerless Lake.

The investigation is ongoing and an update will be provided as new information becomes available.
