PICs – Contest winner enjoys his rewards

The Ukrainian Cultural Society of High Prairie served a traditional Ukrainian Christmas dinner Jan. 20 for winners of a fundraising raffle. Carson Porisky was the winner of dinner for 20. Barry Sharkawi was the winner of dinner for 12, but was unable to attend. The event celebrated Ukrainian Christmas on Jan. 7. During the 12-dish meal, the diners enjoyed performances by the Zirka Dancers. The society presents its annual Zabava celebration on March 3.
