High Prairie Business Support Network has rescheduled its next session for Feb. 22 after the meeting of Jan. 26 was postponed.
Inclusive Leadership will be featured during the session that starts at a new time of 9 a.m. in the Provincial Building in Boardroom B.
“The focus of the session is on the leadership skills required for the inclusion of a diverse group of employees,” says Robin-Lee Vance, community engagement co-ordinator, Community Futures.
During the 90-minute session, the presentation will be made by Natalie Rose, Northern Lakes College liaison of Continuing Education and Corporate Training.
The session will mark the first anniversary of the first session held on Feb. 23, 2017 to bring businesses and community leaders together to network.
“The BSN is a way businesses can share, learn, and grow together,” Vance says.
Regular meetings have also changed to every two months, rather than monthly.
For the following session on March 22, Tolko OSB plant manager Doug Stangier will present an update on reopening of the plant.
All businesses, business organizations and government are welcome to send a representative to attend the sessions at no cost.
“The BSN is an open, positive business network that collaborates, exchanges ideas and information on current business trends, workforce and workplace issues,” Vance says.
The BSN presents a variety of topics to address workplace and workforce issues.
Time for roundtable discussion follows the speaker. Participants can provide an update on their business or organization.
